Every 24 frames per second fill 7 minutes of an imaginary film.
A tactile cinema, on 16mm film, that lasts 70 meters of light.
The performance 70 meters of light was developed to take place within the exhibition of photographs by Jeff Wall, in the context of the Cumplicidades Festival Lab, curated by Sofia Dias & Vítor Roriz, in dialogue with research by neuroscientists from the Champalimaud Center for the Unknown and the exhibitions at MAAT (PT).
Two 16mm projectors are placed 70 meters apart. As a film composed of developing stains and film leader is projected, the performer silently carries the film across the exhibition space from one projector to the other, with the help of the audience.
